Because spring will not come naturally this year, we decided to give her a helping hand with some sun for her tongue from Austria. Weingut Topf is located in Kamptal in the north of Austria. Wine has been made at the Weingut since 1649 and by the Topf family since 1885. Topf produces completely natural wines with as little intervention as possible during the growing of the grapes and the making of the wine. Beautiful spring fresh, but also with depth and body, especially due to the long exposure of the wine to the yeast cells. James Suckling and Robert Parker tumble over each other to give 90+ scores to Topf’s wines.
Whether that is right, you can come and taste it yourself on May 22 at 7:30 PM when no fewer than 8 wines will be reviewed.
Think of Grüner Veltliner and Riesling, but also Chardonnay and of course Zweigelt.
Of course we will have some snacks and there will be laughter guaranteed.
Will we see you there?
