The Negro family has had vineyards in Roero since 1670. In the beautiful hills of Piedmont they devote their lives to making beautiful wines from the white grapes Favorita (Vermentino) and Arneis and the red grape varieties Nebbiolo, Barbera, Bonarda, Brachetto and Dolcetto. They currently own 60 hectares of vineyard, spread over several plots: including the vineyards at the historic Perdaudin family estate in Monte Roero: the San Vittore vineyard in Canale and Basarin in Neive. The wine grapes grow on the sunniest hills on calcareous alluvial soils that vary from hill to hill. The different terroirs and the microclimate in the different vineyards contribute to rich and tasty wines.
