Domaine du Pré Semelé is a family-owned business in the Sancerre region of the Loire Valley, led by brothers Julien and Clément Raimbault. They produce wines that honor the terroir, with vineyards on calcareous clay soils that contribute to the wine’s minerality. The Pinot Noir grapes for the Sancerre Rouge are hand-harvested and destemmed. Fermentation takes place in stainless steel tanks to preserve fruity aromas, followed by aging in oak barrels for added complexity. The winery strives for sustainability and minimal intervention, resulting in wines that exude quality and authenticity.
