Veuve Mathilde from Cave de Pazac is a French white wine with true star quality. Hailing from Costières de Nîmes in the Southern Rhône, this fantastic blend of Grenache Blanc (30%), Vermentino (30%), Roussanne (20%), and Viognier (20%) is so highly regarded that it’s served as the official house wine at the prestigious Cannes Film Festival every year. The wine even has a connection to the big screen: actress Léa Seydoux-Fornier de Clausonne, known for her roles in James Bond films, is a cousin of the château’s owner.
